This Spring has been up and down with the weather and in the wake of it, our winter cover for our above ground swimming pool was put in the garage without a cleaning. Here’s what happened that amazed me. I laid it out on the lawn and the algae and dirt dried on, just nasty. Well I tried water and a push broom to no avail. I thought I’ll try We Be Soap Nuts! I had some liquid in a container made by hot tap water and We Be Soap Nuts. I poured the solution on the cover and with just a light sweep of the push broom the area was totally clean, unbelievably easy. It took me about 15 minutes to do what took over an hour using the traditional method using algaecide. The great thing about this is it is biodegradable and I could do it in shorts and flip-flops, way cool.
